For all who are already using the addon Ultimate Team for FIFA 10 there is a nice new feature: From now on you can manage your team online with an web application.

Everywhere you have access to the EA Sports Football World the FIFA 10 Ultimate Team is available. Make substitutions, prepare your team to a tournament or create new teams with some clicks. All changes will be transfered 1:1 of your console. With the mouse control of the PC you save some time.

GENERAL

Is it free to use FIFA 10 Ultimate Team (FUT 10) for web?
it is free to use as long as you have fully purchased FUT 10 for Xbox 360 or PS3.

What are the advantages to using FUT 10 for web?
It is a lot easier to manufacture a squad using the point-and-click interface, a feature only available on FUT 10 for web. Plus you can edit your squad from anywhere with an Internet connection!

Do I need to stop playing FUT 10 on my Xbox 360 or PS3 to open FUT 10 for web?
No. You can be logged into both at the same time; however, you will not be able to save any changes made in the web application – FUT 10 changes on the console are the only ones which will save in this situation.

BASIC FEATURES

How do I make a new squad?
Click the ‘Manage’ button at the bottom of the screen and click on Create.

How do I rename my squad?
Click the ‘Manage’ button at the bottom of the screen and click on Rename. Your new Squad name must be 3-15 characters long and contain no special characters (ex: !@#$%).

How do I move a player to a different position in my squad?
Click and drag the player to the position of your choice.

How do I add a player from my club to a squad?
To add a player from your club to a squad, you must first select a card and then use the ‘Swap’ option to swap a player from your club into your squad. Click search after you have defined your player criteria and click on the player you would like to add to your squad.

How do I save my squad or any changes I make to my squad on FUT 10 for web?
To save your squad, you must first log off from FUT 10 for Xbox 360 or PS3. Then, on the website, use the ‘Save’ button after making changes. Your changes will be reflected in the console next time you log on.

How do I delete a squad using FUT 10 for web?
To delete a squad, you must be logged out of FUT 10 for Xbox 360 or PS3 and then use the ‘Manage’ option in web application. Once in, you can mouse-over any squad listed and the ‘Delete’ squad option will appear on the right side of the screen.

How do I view more information about the players in the squad?
In the menu bar at the bottom, click on the “View” dropdown menu. This brings up a variety of viewing options for your squad, from how much chemistry they are giving to their preferred formation and nationality, all at a glance.

How do I view detailed information about an individual player?
Click on the player you would like to know more information about and select the “Info” button that appears. This brings up a window that shows all the detailed information about that player.

Is it possible to purchase packs using FUT 10 for web?
No. Buying packs can only be done through FUT 10 for Xbox 360 or PS3.

Is it possible to trade/make offers for items in FUT 10 for web?
No. FUT 10 for web is designed so that the user is able to manage their squads without being logged into the game.

Can I apply consumables on FUT 10 for web?
No. Applying consumables can only be done through FUT 10 for Xbox 360 or PS3.

ADVANCED FEATURES

How do I share a squad?
In the menu bar at the bottom of the app, click on the “Share” button. In this menu you can create a share URL you can share anywhere. Copy the URL and distribute it as you see fit. There are also Twitter and Facebook links for ease of distribution. When someone else clicks on the URL, they will be able to view your squad and your individual player info.

Are other users able to edit my squad if I share it with them?
No. Other users can only view your squad and the individual player info.

FUNCTIONALITY

My FUT 10 web application is in a different language, how can I change it back to English?
Select the drop-down box below the sign-in link on the top corner of the screen and click ‘English’.

Why are my changes in FUT 10 for Xbox 360 or PS3 not showing up in FUT 10 for web?
You must refresh the FUT web application’s browser in order to see the changes.

If I remove a player in the FUT 10 for web, are they discarded?
No they are not, they are simply sent to your club. You cannot discard or send player items to the trade pile via the website.

CHEMISTRY

How much of an effect does chemistry have on a player?
The chemistry of a player has a significant effect. A gold team with bad chemistry will have a hard chance of beating a bronze team with perfect chemistry. Also, chemistry boosts affect the players who earn the chemistry (not evenly spread across the team as it was in FUT 09).

Why doesn’t my Star Rating represent my Chemistry Level?
Your star rating is a representation of the overall rating of each player in the squad. This is calculated from the players in the starting line-up and on the subs bench. The chemistry level is represented by how well each player works with each other. Gold players with an overall rating of 85 or higher that are not playing with players of the same club/league/nation will not have a very high chemistry level but very high star rating.
