FIFA 13 Officially Announced and Screens Revealed

Along with these fifa 13 screenshots, Electronic Arts officially announced FIFA 13, the next installment in the FIFA series scheduled to be available this fall for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, PSP, PS Vita, Wii, 3DS, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and other mobile platforms.

Players now possess the intelligence to create, curve, or alter runs to capitalize on openings as they occur, make runs that pull defenders out of position to open passing channels for teammates, and better position themselves for new attacking opportunities.

Inspired by the world’s best player, Lionel Messi, Complete Dribbling enables players to face their opponent and use precise dribble touches combined with true 360° mobility with the ball. Players change direction quicker, are more explosive accelerating with the ball, and are more effective shielding defenders for longer stretches.
FIFA 13 1st Touch Control transforms the way players control the ball, eliminating near-perfect touch for every player on the pitch, and creating variety and uncertainty around ball control. Factors such as defensive pressure, trajectory of the ball, and velocity of the pass now impact a player’s first touch, creating more opportunities for defenders to win back possession.

EA Sports has revealed the first details about the next game in the famous series of FIFA sports simulators. The new game will include several new game systems, designed to bring the experience closer to reality, improving some key issues.

First we deal with a new addition called Complete dribbling, borrowed from the newly released FIFA Street, which will provide more control over the ball in one to one confrontation. Attacking Intelligence will be a system that will give players a chance to use new tactics to pass the defense opponents, while first-touch control behavior will alter depending on ball trajectory and ball speed when it is intercepted.

Impact Player Engine is back, but obviously in improved form and Tactical Free Kicks will “pepper” least free kicks with the ability to change the number of players in the team participating in such a sequence, and their behavior. The game will include 500 licensed teams and will launch this fall on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Different versions of the same name will also appear on the PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Wii, 3DS, IOS, PSP and PS2.
